A leader who trusts God will be content to let God work. Jesus is our King and Lord and is active in world events and in the lives of individuals. Jesus works through His Holy Spirit and in and through the lives of His Bride, the Church, the assembly of believers, His Body on the earth.

A leader who does not trust God is one who usurps Jesus’ Messiahship and attempts to be the figurehead who gives the people a messianic vision with himself as the central figurehead leader.

When a leader trusts God, he is content to be a participant among his brethren rather than exalting himself above his brethren.
