The gift of tongues are human languages, not gibberish.

There are no scriptures in the Bible that teach that gibberish is used for a message to the church or a prayer language.

In Acts 2:8-11

And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”

I am not a cessationist, but neither am I a pentecostal or charismatic.

I was saved in a charismatic church. I attended Assemblies of God churches, which are pentecostal, for a few years. Then we attended Calvary Chapels for years. Calvary Chapels are generally charismatic to varying degrees.

The more I learned the Bible the less convinced I was of the validity of gibberish for messages to the church or a prayer language.
