Listen to the teaching: Nothing is More Important – Mark 8
The Pharisees were blind. The disciples were having trouble seeing. Nothing is more important than who Jesus is and what is the Gospel that saves. Shall we try to be the god of our own life, or should we deny ourselves and follow Jesus Christ?
But when [Jesus] had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Mark 8:33
